I am the biggest HSM fan but even I am not stupid enough to think he wasn't aware of this. Why didn't muse biihi do this before him and HSM met in Jabuuti with IOG? I also think IOG could have brokered this agreement and in return, he could have asked Ethiopia to keep an eye on Eritrea invading jabuuti? Seems like a reach tho.

What's for sure is the meeting in Djbouti really makes me suspicious.

What's the end goal then? How could Ethiopia getting a port in Somaliland that HSM has no control over benefit him?

Are all the leaders in Somalia bending over to Ethiopia?

If you are expecting Somali politics to make sense, then I think you are already approaching this the wrong way. Somalia is mismanaged because its leaders are not nationalist or patriotic. They don't care about the people or the land, so every decision they make is either an opportunity to enrich themselves and their families or a way to keep holding on to power. Sometimes they make decisions to spite and get revenge on others. I wouldn't be surprised if Muuse biihi is getting some serious weapons from Ethiopia so he can massacre people in lasanood again, which would mean his vendetta and hate for other Somalis outweighs all the dangers that come with Ethiopia literally owning your waters. Somali people have a phrase for this and it's called "qar iska tuur" or "throwing yourself of off a cliff". How else do you explain Farmaajo giving all of Somalia's waters to China for one year for a meager 1 million dollars? How else do you explain Cabdirashid Cali sharmaarke and Shaikh Shariif signing Somalia's southern coasts to Kenya? How else do you explain Ahmed Madoobe bringing in Kenya inside Somalia? How else do you explain Abdullahi yusuf brining in Ethiopian soldiers into Somalia until they hoisted their ugly flag villa Somalia? How else do you explain Siad barre bombing the north until they all became filled with cuqdad and somali diid?
None of these decisions were taken after careful calculations of the pros and cons and that's the problem. These people are beyond stupid! May Allah punish them on earth!

Wow, I might actually see an independent somaliland very soon.

Yeah I figured its all for greed and power at the end of the day. At this point a coup d'etat needs to happen since the government cares nothing for its people.

I wish! There's literally no one who isn't plagued by this qabiil cancer disease! Can you imagine a country of 20 something million people, and all of them are sick!
