He wasn't charged, they released him. That doesn't mean he's innocent. We wasn't found to be innocent. It just means they had insufficient evidence at the time, and you an't just hold someone without charge.

There's plenty of evidence for his crimes, and those of other warlords. If tried these people would certainly be found guilty.

You can accuse Qeybdiid of being a lot of things but not a warlord.
Qeybdiid was part of the London Somalia Conferences a few years ago, do you think the US, EU would have allowed him to participate if he was a warlord?
He is currently a Somali Senator, do you think the IC would let a warlord be part of the Senate of a fragile state?

To compare him to Morgan is ridiculous and downright disingenuous. Morgan commited xasuuq from Saylac to Ras Kambooni.

Whilst Qeybdiid is a man who gave water and food to dirty Kacaan soldiers he captured.

Any other rebel leader would have shot them.

The Swedish court cleared him of all baseless claims of him being a warlord. The "evidence", a video, provided against him was proven to be a heavily edited.

Swedish Police Release Former Somali Militiaman Accused of War Crimes

But
a court-appointed lawyer said the videotape was heavily edited and proved nothing.
Information for this report provided by AP and Reuters.

Yes. The US and EU are not necessarily interested in justice.

Lmao, again yes. Warlords have been heavily involved in Somali politics for the last 2 decades.

Again, read the article. He never stood trial. The Swedish police released him due to lack of evidence. It's a local European police force. They don't have the time, resources, or the ability to investigate war crimes in a far away country. All they had is one video, and they deemed it inconclusive. That's not the same as being innocent.

The ICJ is a different matter entirely. They would actually be able to investigate these things, and collect evidence. They wouldn't have to rely on one video.

Book your uncle Morgan a ticket to US or UK, see if he returns. :icon lol::icon lol:

:what1:Did you even read the article?

'A Swedish court has released a former Somali militia commander accused of war crimes ...'
