Yes the system in China is not very expensive.
Facial recognition and tracking technology is what we need. Xamar should have 10-25k surveillance cameras placed at all the major roads and markets.
These cameras would cost around 2000 a piece.
$70 million would be enough to secure Xamar.

I think anyone who plans on coming to the South will sign up. This is a national program funded by World Bank.

It would’ve been better if they added mother’s name in addition the father, for better identification. Plenty of Somalis use the same common first/last names. Having both parents names makes most sense to me.

Most aid will soon be cut off anyways in a couple of years in 2027. The donor fund we receive decreases on a yearly basis, and IMF/donor countries expect us to be self sufficient by then.

Yep it’s already been cut effectively. Which is why we’ve had to raise taxes on Xamar port, also bring in income tax bill for Jan 2024 which includes corporation taxes, property taxes etc

I don’t think it’s optimal to put address on the IDs. Are we supposed to get new IDs every time we move? We should rather have an office and a website dedicated to registry where you can update when changes are made.

How many times do you move sxb? Here in the U.K. it’s a nightmare to change address lol
