Hopefully you can just change your address on the digital ID and get a new card sent/go pick one up.

If you look closely, you will see that there are 2 different addresses, one is the present address and the other is the permanent address. I think the permanent address is something that does not change.

Personally I think people from Djibouti, Galbeed and NFD should not be allowed to get a Somali identification. These people are happy living under gumeysi, xasuuq and etc. Now that Somalia is developing they want to jump into the boat.

Technically, what's stopping us from getting IDs? The constitution allows us to get citizenship of Somalia on the basis of ethnicity/clan.

This is exactly why I say don't jump into the boat now. Keep living in gumeysi, we are not asking you to come with us.

I totally agree with the fact that reer NFD and DDS shouldn't have access to the ids nor citizenship. They may share the Somali erhncitiy but they are not somali by nationality.
If they want to gain they should be asked to live in Somalia for 10 years and denounce any Kenyan or Ethiopian citizenship they have. They shouldn't be allowed to have Somali citizenships and Kenyan/Ethiopian citizenship at the same time.

It should be made illegal it's unfair for you guys to have both it can even bring problems when we move to 1m1v. Reer DDS/NFD will enter Somalia just to vote and leave back to their regions. This will be unfair as they aren't even citizens so they shouldn't have voting rights.Who is to say that there aren't many of us who already carry the two of them

In that case, diaspora Somalis should also have to renounce their citizenship. Plenty of your politicians have *voluntarily* pledged allegiance to foreign countries while supposedly 'serving' the interests of Somalia, lol. And what problems are we bringing to Somalia?
Also, how are you supposed to deal with border clans that live on both sides? Especially those without a permanent resident and move freely as there aren't a border that separates them in practice. We're talking about million of Somalis. You do know that Ethiopia and Somalia don't have demarcations of borders, with the exception of an 'administrative border'?
