I romanticized Turkey till I got there.

Felt profiled right from the airport by airport security. Not sure I want to live there.

Loved Cape Town, but highly racialized place. A group of us were kicked out of our hotel rooms to make room for some German tourists....True story.

But liked the overall feel of South Africa.

I'd love love love to see Brazil. Any stories from there?
One of my lecturers is from Brazil and he's got nothing but hatred for the place.
The level of criminality there is beyond anything you can imagine.

There are thousands of Gulf native who don't have citizenship since the foundation of these states, nearly 70 years, 3 generations without citizenship, even thou they're arabs with Arab clans in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia
Yeah and because they are Shia, they won’t get it

No that's not the case as most Shias are actually citizens in the gulf the stateless communities in kuwait is complicated as many of them were nomads from Iraq and Saudi Arabia who crossed the borders and failed to register their identity to the authorities when citizenship was being given to locals back in 60s and 70s
