You've mixed it up.

Cisse supported Abdi Iley (with regards to his stance on Sitti), but not the agreement he was forced to sign. It was done against Abdi Iley's will by the TPLF-led gov't.

If Abdi Iley did it willingly, why didn't he hand over the land to the Afar region? Because it never happened.

And no, the conflicts did not start 2020 either. It started way before when the entire country descended into chaos around 2017. To which Iley responded by sending armed forces there, and defending all Somali inhabited land, especially in Sitti. The Afars never managed to get a single inch of that land under his rule.

To make it clear, the disputed has existed since the 90s. It would've continue today whether the agreement happened or not. Look at the rest of the borders that DDS shares with Oromia. There are border disputes everywhere. Despite the fact that there were referendums there, you can ask the same question here.

Afars only took advantage of the power vaccum when Cagjar took over. Despite revoking the agreement, Cagjar was at first hesitant to send forces there during fightings, but the locals managed to keep the land by themselves. It was only during the Tigray war with external help, that Afars captured most of the disputed lands.

Here you have a local guy who knows a lot, corroborating what I said, even he don't blame Abdi Illey/Absame. This is not an uncommon viewpoints either.:mjdontkno:

Its Absame to blame. That's the bitter truth. Doesn't matter who was holding the leash. :manny:

I never said it started into 2020. I said the withdrawal from that agreement in 2019 sparked a border in conflict in 2020.

Whatever floats your boat :patrice:

The withdrawal didn't start the conflict tho, even if that's the claim you're making. The land was never in the control of the Afar region, so why would that make a difference?!?!

The timeline you're referring to in 2020, was about the same date that the Tigray war started. Do the math yourself, and connect the dots together. That's when they started receiving external help, and getting upper hand on the ground. So, your claim that the withdrawal being the root cause, holds no weight. They just saw an opportunity to take advantage of the given circumstances :what1:

Somalinimo was always a fantasy. It never existed and always has been anti-colonialist/MSB propaganda. Somalis are arguably the most divisive people in the world. It was only strong in the diaspora for for the first 2 decades after the civil war for survival purposes. I don't agree with what has happened but there's no denying its easier to trust and work with other ajnabis than other Somalis.

I was just making the reference that we are connected to Cissa land without having to cross Oromia and Samaroon (if they were to join Oromia), and thereby access to Djibouti port instead of Berbera port as the guy above mentioned.

This is without including having access to Garaacad soon, as well as Bosaso and other ports in Somalia in the near future.

And Cisses will definitely not join Oromia under any circumstances, regardless of what some users here think :lolbron:
Oromo gonna join Djibouti. We'll take back all ciise lands from them infidels

The demographic shift in Djibouti is going strong. In a near future, Djibouti will be annexed by Ajnabis. Might flee the sinking ship and create some new alliances while there are opporunities left:wow:
Arabs are richer than the average Ciise Djiboutian, take a stroll around haramous its either Isaaq or Arab. There are no rich Ciise in Djibouti

30% Afar
10% Arab
15% Oromo
45% Somali 20% being Ciise the great replacement is happening

Let me go ahead and start an anti-foreigners movements. How can the nooble Cisses be a minority within their own nation. #DeportEveryNon-Cisse

I might have to sell this idea to IOG. I think he will love it, as long as he keeps it a secret from Kadra.

How will Sameroon join Oromia if they don't border them? @Araabi your input is needed.

I am dead serious, if Isaaq were given the choice between Somali and Oromo regions, we would choose Oromo. Hell will freeze before a Dhofaar would attempt to guilt-trip Isaaq with Somalinimo. I heard Some Hawiye and Ciise also joined Oromia in 2003.

The borders have recently changed since the referendum that saw Jinacsani transferred to Oromia. Jinacsani which us now Oromia has borders with Lafaciise, Xerogeel and Jaare which are some of our most important towns. In the new setup we now border Oromia on three sides.

The Red lines to the east are the new borders. Jigjiga is cut off between two different sections in Oromia. We are not officially part of Oromia now but in the future it's a very real possibility.

The tiny nations of Djibouti can not be shared between Cisse, Samaroon, Isaaq, Afars, Oromos, Xabashis, Yemenis etc. What's left to be eaten? The crumbs won't suffice :damn:
Add Chinese , the landheers been moving in. I met a Chinese guy who worked in Ali Sabieh and he said magaca to me in broken Somali

One thing I've realized, Chinese and Pakis/Indians can be found everywhere in horn of Africa and literally everywhere else.

The Chinese are doing all of the major projects in Jigjiga. I need to bankrupt them somehow and send them back home to CCP rule :hemad:
