Here is a good example of one the accounts who pretends to be Somali and practices: HawdNews24, he speaks ZERO Somali, he is an Oromo who shills for Issaqs and SL. He spread misinformation and SLanders genuinely think he is on their side. He knows about Qabil history and other various things due to Twitter Spaces. There are many Oromos larping as Somalis on various social media accounts, hiding behind X Qabil and doing isku dir tactics on Somalis.

They don't operate with the gun as i know, but go with the path of offering lands, and peace to somalis clan with difficult with one another. Same thing that happened to jasros, when in 2007 i think, voted to be under the control of oromia instead of somali region.

Thank you walal for bringing up this topic! I tried to mention before, especially how they do claim other clans, or at least try/and be incorporated in other clans. Live together with you and assimilate, so you wouldn't doubt them (unlike Amharas for instance) for a longer period of time. Then once they have created settlements and established themselves to the point of being "irrevocable". They will (revert back to) claim Oromo, when the opportunity arises and try to create a Oromo state or "re-unite" with an Oromo state, as in the case of Ethiopia. And I am speaking from personal experience/history. While I don't believe that we should hate or create animosity towards them, we should be aware and learn from the past, to not make the same misstakes. Which unfortunately, regardless of how much evidence you bring forwards, certain Somalis will always doubt and disregard you, even when it's too late!

Also once they are done dividing Somalis along clanism (besides our own massive problems) and they will exploit it and cause further intra-Somali issues/disputes, so thereby aim for what their original intentions were.

I've followed this specific dude for a while, and his intentions has always been clear for me since day one, which is to reach the gulf of Aden, and then expand from there. Somalis are an easy bait too. He tried to mention Zaylac as a future Ethiopian base, and got his loyal somali followers (SL in particular) mad, and then reverted to his regular shenanigans, once not received the reaction he was aiming for. And they followed along back with him.

And whenever something happens against Somalis in Ethiopia, usually Afars and Oromos, he always comes out supporting whoever is on the other side of Somalis. And gets support from his fellow Somalis.

Look at his twitter bio too #HawdReserveStatehood i.e. a clan state, aiming at dividing DDS along clan lines, to then get other clan states. Basically to create divisions to the point of then being run over by Oromos and other Ethiopians, onwards to Somalia.

All I am saying is that the plan is clear. And it's not limited to this twitter account only.


The town recently captured by Afar militias, inhabited 100% by Somalis.

Oromos are biggest clan in Ethiopia and almost 40% of country. Sleeping giant that’s taking center stage after being sidelined for long time. Only good thing is they are not cohesive due to being Christian and Muslim .
