I think the problem with Ethiopia is the easy access and affordability of guns. This definitely contributes to escalating cross-ethnic conflicts. Now more than ever, there are trained ethnic fighters among the locals, and if things escalate, I fear no one will be safe. Add to that the boldness of those using social media to stoke conflict.

Do the people of Galbeed have access to these guns? I know they disbanded their ethnic fighters back in the 2010s. Is it still the same? Weirdly, our people are not getting more land out of ET. ET Reddit, I looked up Amhara posts and I can seeing Amharas complaining that Omoros are assimilating Amharas in Amhara lands.
