We're Muslim, we're not allowed to conquer other people, only defend our land. Habesha conquered people cunningly using Christianity and they had help from Christians. We're the superior race. Also, we're the most divided people that's why we never developed much. Each clan considered themselves a different people and wanted to build something only they could boast about. Somali nationalism only existed from the dawn of independence (to unite Somali lands, gain total independence) to 1978 when the Galbeed war came to a halt.

There are many Somali names used by the Ancient Egyptians Pharaohs , as the pharaoh “Wanaag” which means in Somali “The good one” , another ancient pharaoh of the first Thinite Dynasty was called “Hor-Aha” which currently means in Somali “”The First One , The Guide , The one who commands, the guide, the precursor” . The first, second and third dynasty had connections with their predecessors, but up until the famous 18th Dynasty a Eygptian female pharaoh traced her lineage all the way back to the Land of Punt, and it was said that the egyptians at that time spoke the same language as the people of Punt. The Arab caliphates were spreading Islam when they were doing that and the nations they conquered were non-Muslim nations. I'd have loved that Somalis at least conquered Ethiopia though.
