I can't stand the current administration but the PM's visit today was probably the best decision of this government's term. HSM is always trying to get international support no one would support his antics if they knew what he was really up to. People forget this guy is always getting money from countries for his "security" the trip to LA is completely unjustifiable.

I agree with you that the FGS has been non-committal and vague over the last two years.
But the fact that SSC-Khaatumo hosted the PM and a large FGS delegation in Sool is still positive news for the region. It further legitimizes SSC-Khaatumo’s existence as a political entity and undermines Somaliland’s claim that the region is still disputed.

They recently attacked Ceerigaabo in order to expel Isaaqs and once the Isaaqs repelled, the Jabartis civilians were sent packing. The locals of this region have resorted to tribal militias of their own to defend themselves. Do you think your Jabarti PM hugging these criminals helps you in ever waving the blue flag in Hargeisa?
Then don’t advocate or co-sign for Darod tribal militias who have no intent on living peacefully with other Somalis. These militias have no loyalty to any higher ideals than killing Isaaqs.
