Is Texas independent or still part of the union? Puntland will never seceede from Somalia. That said, WE WILL NEVER HAVE OUR FATE BE DECIDED FROM MOGADISHU. You can cry, you can scream, you can call it treason but that is the truth. No one in Mogadishu will have much say in what actually happens in Puntland. In exchange for this, Puntland only wants to recieve its fair share of any foreign aid. That is it. Puntland has no interest in what happens to Hiraan, Bay, Bakool etc... This has been Puntland’s position for 20 years.

Bro no one knows my interests better than me. No Irir will advance my interests better than my own leaders. SFG requested from Puntland to side with Qatar while we have zero stakes there.
