Taliban didn't interfere with other countries because you didn't have so called front line states as troop contributing countries in Afghanistan. The west would never allow somalia to fall kulaha. Somalia is already a failed state. When the west doesn't want a country to fall ot interferes from the onset like erhiopia 1991 and kenya 2007.

Realistically, the ones who have defected in the past show that the thought crosses their mind. Like you said, the oil money will either be used to develop Somalia, or purge them.
