Defeating ISIS isn't what ppl measure but how quick the operation is done it's called efficiency. This is going way to long for what they predicted is 1000 clowns using mountain warfare. Lessons must be learned from this war by the commanders and heirachy on mistakes or missed opportunities or inaccurate calculations.
Every dollar and UN necessary life lost and time which could've been used in other areas of value outputs, heads must roll in Military leadership no excuses after post Isis operation tour details are reviewed. Poor strategy which is leadership no buck passing can lead to tremendous lives lost, money, and time and future morale issue. Unacceptable heads must roll post Isis operation.

I have faith untill post operation information is revealed, strategy vs funds vs lives vs time. Don't assume ISIS offloaded their whole capability, their testing arenas to base from only. It's impressive they knew they had to hide in Mountains unlike their other brothers walking freely in the south showing how much less they fear them.
Deni is right neaderthals lived in Mountains and their gorillas mental capacity wise, that would've been their last retreat after homo sapiens were on land. Many humans also retreat to Mountains and then form unique fighting cultures like Nepal's and Lebanese Christian. Many others exist also.
