The president needs a place to stay that is official in the towns around Puntland. We are de-centralizing, the whole purpose is to set up presidential home for the president so he can spend time in those places to find out their requirements.

I am not sure why we give the presidency to issa mahmoud, wtf can he do? go crazy in his own town, we should sideline him and pass his spot to warsangeli because it's not fair he gets the capital and a presidential term, their civilized and trustworthy people bar dubays who can be bit wild kkkk but badhan folks are ok.

The region model is better with presidential seat going to each region once. Bari-Nugal-Mudug-Sanag-Sool, that's cadalad as far as I am concerned. You can't say aan mamul wada yeelano lakin ana madaxtoyada qaadanayo taas ma aha mamul la wada lee yahay sxb and discredits puntland legitmatcy in the wider community inside puntland and also in somalia and the international community. You need to be consistent with your rules.

They did everything right. Federalism vision and not majertenia sultanate vision on 1929 borders. No jabhad or attacking regions to join, no blood spilled, no clan dis-armed, parliament district based not tribe based, the only place they messed up was presidential seat should circulate all the regions one by one so everyone is a stakeholder. The biggest reason siyad did his coup was he felt he couldn't be stakeholder due to the nepotism and puntland will suffer the same fate or security problems for a long time till everyone is stakeholder. This is the last reform it needs puntland to share president along regional lines on the founding states.

By having multiple presidential houses, the president can receive foreign dignitaries and such in different cities. The houses can also be used for other purposes while not in use by the president. And finally, the president doesn't have to only live in Garowe. They can take their cabinet and spend weeks in any corner of Puntland.

The first madaxtooyo was built by the people of Bari for AUN Abdullahi Yuusuf to rest in as the president been at frontlines for 4 decades.

For me the Bosaso state house is the most beautiful one with its local traditional architecture.

It was basically just a huge villa but had enough work space.

My 2nd favorite madaxtooyo is in the beautiful city of Qardho, don't let its size of this state house fool you, it housed many dignitaries and officials taking in the old Boqors funeral and also during Boqor Burhans crowning.

Bosaso and Qardho madaxtooyo were built in our traditional old architecture which i love about them. Qardho still uses our traditional Puntite style when constructing major buildings like the Karkar regional Police headquarters in the first picture and the biggest jail in Puntland.
