The information minister publicly states that the government is not seeking an extension. A permanent election committee (TPEC is transitional) will be formed soon with a full mandate. The roadmap for elections will be unveiled by this committee.
TPEC announces 8 political parties, as accepted by the High Court, and that ends its mandate.

.Speaker of the Parliament names 3 members of PEC. This is going to be interesting with the Executive to name 3, and each of the 8 parties naming 1, that is a whopping 14 member body.

14 members is a bit too much, donβt you think? How many members did TPEC have?

It is crowded, and could even get worse in the future. TPEC had 9 members.
From the look of it, and I do not have the details yet, they did not win any seats, mere 31 votes, failing to meet the threshold.
They most likely will, and Horseed should be included, for it is better for Faroole & Co. to be on the inside stirring the pot instead of the outside throwing rocks at the house.
