We can use USA election model, Presidental election with parlament in same time.

In .So, people are in dire need of basic civics training. Then, it could be mixed and matched, but why complicate it, just stick with the Parliamentary system, or as Deni & Co. have done with the amendments, adopt the Republican format. Either works. Just make the process open, transparent, and with stakeholders aboard, and involved in the decision-making.

Deni and co don’t want 1M1V, he’s playing the waiting game as long as opposition is unorganized. He’s sabotaging the democratization process by appointing inexperienced and inadequate PEC. They should’ve already come up with a roadmap to elections. Deni should show us that he wants elections on time.

He comes across as if he wants to, but is afraid of the opposition, albeit has no reason to fear, as his stars are aligned in his favour.

10 weeks is not a plenty of time. Campaigning should take at least 4 months.

Current parliament's term ends on Jan 08th, therefore:
- Elections could be held between: No earlier than Nov. 8th, and no later than May 08. That is a plenty of time to organise elections.

I want to add: image how silly the opposition would look like if they were yelling from the sidelines while other parties were busy campaigning in the cities and villages. Who would’ve been even listening to Xasan Shite and co.

I think they are waiting for PEC to release timelines and schedule, and that could still happen. I could still see ina Faroole, Guled Salah et al kicking up fuss in Garowe, but then again, elections could take place elsewhere. It would be rather odd though.

Its so wild to me how Puntland has become the new home of Badbaado Qabiil and the former Garowe mayor using words like "eryaa, eryaa, eryaa" make me absolutely sick. Deni is also a fat insecure gentleman who wants to prove that he can do whatever he likes, similar to Farmaajo. Poverty nation led by insecure weak men. I actually do not care which way this goes as long as more lives are not lost, we lost 36 in Garowe already. General Asad claiming he will put on his military uniform and arrest the sitting President while the reer Garowe mucaarad laughed and clapped for him was even worse. Hes basically Mahad Salad from Bosaso, except he is funded by American taxpayer dollars and handed modern weapons to "fight" 60 kids wearing sandals hiding on a mountain ridge for the last 25 years. He used it to consolidate power in Bari through the plata o plomo approach and now wants to bully the rest of Puntland. Puntland needs a strong reer Mudug leader, not wanna be Arabs from Bari or poverty Tom Cruise. I am voting for the first reer Mudug candidate I see.
