Faarax Cali Shire opposes term extension for parliament. He seems to think a new parliament favors him, I think he is right. He may be a stronger candidate than Ina Shire Abgaal.
New parliament can put SSC in bad position. I think thats why they suggesting the 1 year extension so they can still participate. If new election happens might not be good idea for them participate and have their regions representative start new term. they are tying up their chance of statehood for another 5 years. wonder if Firdhiye will speak on issue next couple days

The supreme court rejected the term extension for the parliament. Their mandate ends on the 31st.
So now how they will elect MP in this short time!.
Garaad Jamaac lands in Garowe. He says there will be a meeting held in Las Anod by the SSC elders in the coming days to preserve the unity of SSC, Puntland, and Harti. I'm assuming he's referring to their decision regarding the 17 seats they occupy in PL parliament.
Faroole junior, Asad Diyano, and Hassan Shire Abgaal announce they will not take part in the presidential election if the resolution and vetting committee nominated by Deni oversees the parliamentary selection process.

Aden Sheikh-doon makes campaign stops in Badhan and Qardho. He met with Suldaan Siciid and Boqor Burhaan. For me he is among the top three contenders along with Deni and Hururse.

Interesting developments in SSC this would make PL elections more interesting.
Garaad Cabdilahi gives a clear message to those who want to betray Reer SSC. Always good to give people clarity.
