Racist woman denies Black man claiming her ethnicity

Huguenots are French people, racially and ethnically close to the English. It would be like a Somali who is autosomally mostly Somali, but with an Afar paternal lineage (Somali scenario of Nigel Farage).
You know very well that many qabilist somalis wouldn't consider that person as Somali no matter how close Afars look to us.
Somalia is also not a nation of immigrants so it's different.
Anyway there are Yemenis born in Somalia who proudly say they are somalis, nothing wrong with that. There are some arab yemenis who were born and raised in Somalia, many only speak af soomaali and hang out with Somalis in the diaspora. It makes sense for them to call themselves somalis cause it's their nationality even though they aren't ethnic somalis.

England isn’t a nation of immigrants they have just been influenced by Anglo Saxons who are their neighbours.

France is the only country in Europe where the demonym 'French' does not have strong ethnic connotations. From what I hear their government tries to hide ethnic statistics and has an America type of mindset of who is French.

@Saredo can you confirm?

They have been a nation with lot's of immigrants in the last 150 years and now there are non-whites who have been in england for 2-3 or even 4 generations. I'm not talking about the middle ages.
Almost half of London is non white right now.

I think that trend will stop when immigrants become westernised and start having fewer kids.

Mostly only since 1950s. Before that point it was relatively minor. I watched this documentary about Britain in the 1930s-50s and they were so insular that they had issues understanding the American accent. Surprised by that.

True. They don't use racial statistics to the point that nobody has an exact estimate of how many french citizens are black or arab. They try to be officially colorblind but in reality they aren't, historically though they were the most inclusive european country. France had black MPs back in the 18th century , if non-whites adopted French culture and language they would accept them.
Even now the french territories in the caribbean have the same status as mainland french departments while the UK territories in the caribbean didn't have full british citizenship untill a few years ago

Still, a kid born right now could have a grandparent who came in the 50s, that's already third generation

I have noticed it is mostly Christian and irreligious nonwhite/POC migrants who want to be accepted by local Europeans by the local demonym (English, French, Swedish etc).

Islamic migrants proudly stick to claiming their original countries/ethnicities, especially when they are full-blood. Most of the third generation Turks in Europe I know don't claim German etc.

European Jews have this funny mindset. They pretend to be integrated locals among the native whites (proud English, proud French etc), but behind closed doors and amongst themselves they call native whites 'goys' (the other) and consider themselves Jews first and foremost. :silanyolaugh:

That's true.
Jews have good attitude in this case, they are fully integrated in their own diaspora countries but they never forget their roots and who they are.
Somalis should do the same, we remember who we are but we aren't integrated enough. More integration could benefit somalia in the diaspora with more somali politicians, somali administrators, somali doctors, somali lawyers etc.

I always thought the Anglo saxon admixture was limited to the upper class

There was a study that showed that eastern English people were on average about 40% Anglo-Saxon with a range of 35-50% whereas even Scottish and Welsh people could be modeled as about 30% on average. But I don't know how they can be so sure of these estimates as the Danes would have had an impact too and they wouldn't have been very genetically different from Anglo-Saxons. I think the gist to just take away is that modern Brits are not the direct, uninterrupted descendants of the pre-Anglo-Saxon Celts and have a lot of overall Germanic ancestry, possibly even more than those estimates if one tries to factor in Norse samples. The Roman conquest seemingly had zero impact, though.

Scottish identity is a meme. Lowland Scots are the same people as Northeast English. It's only the Celtic Highlanders that have a very small population, who are actually distinct people from the English. It's also where the stereotypical Scottish stuff comes from such as skirts/"kilts", bagpipes and such

"I'm anglo-saxon. You will never be English, you are afro-Caribbean" dangerously based. That's what you get for cooning and not embracing your identity :pacspit:

David Lammy is a identitarian who constantly brings up his hyphenated identity - muh Caribbean British, Black British, etc. When you play identity politics all the time you can't be surprised that native English people start to behave in the same manner.

Play stupid games when stupid prizes wallahi. I'm surprised he didn't start autistically screeching about the windrush generation being in England since the late 40slol
