Most of their country looks like this:

+ it is relatively mild (rarely above 29 C). Perfect conditions for humans to thrive in number.

Holland and Belgium are similarly small but extremely populated.

They have lush Fertile land to farm.
In somalia every guul season the few green sprouts that stick out will be eaten by a lamagoodles herd.

It was originally Cushitic land (Ethiopian-like people), but the cucks couldn't keep up with the Bantu farmers who outbred them.
Somalis are the dumbest people i've seen , we settled in the shittest lands of all. Kenyans and Ethiopians have land 100X better then us!

Cushites liked pastoralism, which made them thrive in arid and semi-arid lands.

This is why Northern Kenya is still Cushitic (Gabra tribe, Rendille, Borana Oromo etc), while Western Kenya got overtaken by Bantu farmers.

They have gdp per capita of 800, they have long way to go. Somalia is about 200, ridiculously poor. If your country reaches 12,000 gdp per capita, you become a somewhat developed nation. Turkey is the closest but they wiped their gains thanks to their acting like superpower without superpower economy.

Currently, rwanda gdp is 10 billion, They need to 15x their economy to reach 12k, which is 150 billion, with a growth rate of %10 percent they will reach there in 28.5 years. Somalia gdp is 6 billion, we need to 31x our economy to reach 12k per capita, which is at 185 billion. Which will take 36 years nonstop 10% growth. Maintaining %10 gdp growth is not easy, but this is the growth rate countries go through if they are developing fast.

Somalia pre-war peak at 1.1B gdp in 1989, if we had lets say a %10 gdp growth to this day, we would have been at 23B, with a gdp per capita of 1360, surpassing rwanda. The trade off would be that, we would be in socalism.

Somalia's GDP stats cannot be trusted. A huge portion if not nearly everything is black market outside of government observation.

True, Russia gdp which is 1.7T 10-15% comes from dark markets. If things resolved and alshabab is defeated we will inshallah get a more accurate results. Somalia gdp is gaining at 3-4%, which is very slow. If we do it right we can surpasse %10, china at some points was reaching 15-18
