I was tryna rage bait with the ‘femcels on this website comment’ but I’m not joking about the rise of femcels. We’ve already lost a segment of young men, do we really want women to go down the same path? Of course men are more dangerous in terms of the violence incels create but there is a growing pattern of women becoming more disillusioned with male behaviour/antics and perceiving male online behaviour as the norm and how most men think irl.
The thing is, women in real life deal with male violence and devaluation. Many aspects of Traditional cultures are literally built on female dehumanization and women waking up to this isn’t ‘femcel’. The world femcel is a word coined by men who lack originality.
The harsh reality is that many men simply don’t want to hear about the gross misogyny women deal with across the globe.
Whilst I do believe that most men aren't like this, a common theme is that regular men seem to have an invested interest in downplaying what women go through and seem to feel threatened by women voicing the truth even backed by studies and the anecdotal testimony of millions. Stuff like that is what will cause the biggest threat to gender relations, not women online yapping on about misogyny.
I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard the twitter racism/gender war talking points in real life….EVER. It’s just not a thing. If heard someone say the half the stuff I hear on twitter I’d probably look at them like aliens.
People are creating think pieces online about actual real life phenomena. In real life things happen, rather than people talking about it as a discourse. Women are being murdered by spouses, women are being r-worded and burnt alive in the dozens in South Asia, women do have one of the highest rates of femicide in places like South Africa, women are dehumanized as beings.
Literally a few threads before there was the case of the little Somali girl with blue eyes who is ill yet her relatives refused to help her father because she’s a ‘mere girl’. Little girls in
YOUR own country are being denied help, because of their gender. That is what women deal with, but no one is ‘talking’ about it in the real world since it’s happening. Online is where people discuss these real life cases.
I didn’t mention misogyny because the post was talking about femcels. Just because I talk about problems facing women doesn’t mean I need to make up for it by criticising men in the same breath. I’ll do it when it’s relevant or someone else can point it out
Female shooters are like 0.01% and tbh femcels don’t even exist. Most women aren’t shooting men down or crying online or attacking men because a man won’t give them their time of day.
Women who critique men or even women who hate men actually site stuff like men are violent towards them, sexual abuse and the list continues. Look at any incel or redpill account, their biggest concern is because beautiful women won’t give them a chance. That alone should tell you how different so called ‘femcels’ and actual incels are.
