Whilst I do believe that most men aren't like this, a common theme is that regular men seem to have an invested interest in downplaying what women go through and seem to feel threatened by women voicing the truth even backed by studies and the anecdotal testimony of millions. Stuff like that is what will cause the biggest threat to gender relations, not women online yapping on about misogyny.

Literally a few threads before there was the case of the little Somali girl with blue eyes who is ill yet her relatives refused to help her father because she’s a ‘mere girl’. Little girls in YOUR own country are being denied help, because of their gender. That is what women deal with, but no one is ‘talking’ about it in the real world since it’s happening. Online is where people discuss these real life cases.
