Burr>canjeero with sugar
Protein?Wait you have Canjeero with sugar AND MEAT I didnβt know what Oodkac was but it looked like halwa so I assumed it wasBur is nice, as a side-dish, but it's just fried dough, where is the protein?
Wait you have Canjeero with sugar AND MEAT
I would understand if it was just Canjeero and oodkac, but canjeero with sugar and meat is crazy. Itβs like adding sugar to chicken and waffles it donβt make senseYES!
Don't forget the butter from the oodkac drizzled on top.
Sweet and savoury, like most Somali cuisine!

Abayo whatβs oodkacYES!
Don't forget the butter from the oodkac drizzled on top.
Sweet and savoury, like most Somali cuisine!
But the canjeelo has to be fermented, so you get that tangy taste, and the yeast makes it rise, so it's nice and fluffy!

Thanks sis.Iβve never had it before I shall try it!!muqmad/oodkac
Sis, you're missing out! It's amazing, it's dried/preserved meat, fried in butter/oil, sort of like a beef jerky/dried meat. It's especially tasty with timir, or with Canjeelo like the pictures above.

Thanks sis.Iβve never had it before I shall try it!!
Iβve never heard of fermented canjeero Iβve only had it freshly made wow sis thanks for sharingYes please!
But to have the best experience, use the traditional fermented canjeelo! Not freshly made, that'll ruin the experience.
Horta are you Somali? Thanks sis.Iβve never had it before I shall try it!!
