While the Horn of Africa is more linked to the rest of Africa despite the obvious differences.

Black is an English word that has many negative connotations, as a Somali it's beyond me why one would identify themselves using another mans language. Besides you don't see Asians identify themselves by the colour of their skin, once one calls themselves black one is effectively wipes out his history, culture, people, country. I simply identify myself as Somali nothing more nothing less.
