If you go to Kenya you will only see light skinned Somali women. Only the men still have their natural skin color . The men are also starting to bleach , I think after 20 years there will be no dark skinned Somalis left in Kenya .

Really sad to see this. We are naturally brown skinned and even darker because we live around the equator.
He obviously has issues within himself and hopefully he will see that he is perfect the way he is.
People really should take this bleaching pandemic seriously. My diaspora friends also started to lighten their skin simply they consider themselves too dark.

I've noticed that a lot of Somalis back home like to use lightening filters and they spend too much time consuming Hindi media, and we know Hindis hate being brown, let alone dark.

It's a Somali thing. They call everybody Cadde. They especially love calling really dark skinned people cadde lol. It's nothing special, it's just the way people talk.
Some Somalis are more light skinned than others. I've seen insanely natural white skinned Somalis. Some you'll think are Arabs. I don't care for looking more white, I keep myself as I am. I betcha that dude has effects on his voice to get better singing voice and his natural voice ain't so great.
