The only reason why SL survives is because it's a pure qabiilocracy state, which in essence is fine. All of the institutions and regional positions are distributed based on clan lines. For example, 100% of the positions in Awdal are occupied by people from the region. No Isaaq has any governmental positions in Awdal outside of key workers. I know it is not good to generalize but there is something deeply wrong with the Muslims of Ethiopia.

It is as if they are completely secularized and liberalized, Muslim in name but are not only happy to be subservient to Christians but prefer Christian Ethiopian to other Muslims.

Many of them are online celebrating the prospect of their Murtad leader who is allied with zionists taking Muslim land, in the heart of the Muslim world.

A stronger hostile presence of gaalo in our land and Red Sea gives them direct aim over many Muslim countries including the Kaba itself.

From my understanding the Habarfaan branch was primarily set up to reabsorb scattered family members, my grandmother is also Xeebjire but her family lived in Chiro, I did a bit of digging around and the area was called chercher before, and part of Doba country( Historian John Trimingham argues that the people of Doba were of Afar stock.) which might explain her haplogroup(J1B) usually found amongst Sudanese, and the Afar showing up on her Illustrate.
