Sudan Conflict Updates: Army vs RSF

@Asaana
What is the current state?
How are the negotiations coming along?
Is there a chance of peace agreement?
Is either side willing to swallow its misplaced pride, put the national interest before the tribal, and save the nation from sinking into a never ending civil war where everyone loses at the end?
Sorry bud I know just as much as you :ftw9nwa:

There are no tribal interests, just personal and familial. If that weren't the case then Musa Hilal would be supporting the RSF and people wouldn't be calling the RSF "Qahati militia" (Qahat = FFC which is led by Riverines). And this won't be a never ending civil war for multiple reasons:

1- RSF fighters in Khartoum state fell from over 60k to under 20k in just 3 months. Some credible sources even estimate 10-12k remaining.
2- The rainy season is affecting RSF supply routes, hence their desperate attempt to smuggle weapons through Kassala.
3- Very few Sudanese people support RSF, so while the military is recruiting thousands of men from across Sudan the RSF has to force children to fight for them.

Adding on to #2, there are reports that RSF is besieged in Southern Khartoum. That explains why they tried to invade المسعودية.

Good info. From the way you are dropping bodies like flies here, I thought you were in the trenches leading the combat from the front.

How large is the National army?

That explains why they tried to invade المسعودية.
For real? by way of the desert through Sinai?

For real? by way of the desert through Sinai?

RSF soldiers are literally standing outside Burhans building as we speak. Sudanese army is falling apart and their airforce is nearly finished. As if June they had already lost 40+ planes in total

This war is 3 million baggara vs 40+ million Sudanese. Of course the level of propaganda and lies against the RSF will be dominating the media and social platforms.
It doesn’t change the fact that the Sudanese army has collapsed internally and is too weak to defeat the RSF on the ground.

@Khalumi
So, you are a Hamedti fan? What is his end game?
This war is about ending the dominance of Northern Sudani Arabs in power. It is the same class that had been ruling the country since 1956.

they have the slaves of the east who would lick their boots any day of the week. They tortured and killed over 2 million South Sudanese until they seceded and also responsible for the murder of 300k people in Darfur.

they saw that the RSF, Arabs of the west, was getting too powerful and threatening their thrown. So they foolishly fired the first gullet and today they can’t even enter their own presidential palace anymore.

Let us assume so is true, what is RSF's end game? How do they wish to bring about a balance of power without annihilating the nation, for if destroyed, there shall be nothing left to rule.

the RSF is open to negotiations to limit the destruction of the Sudanese state. It is the Sudanese army after all bombing roads, bridges and buildings for unknown reasons. Same way they been bombing innocent civilians in Nuba mountains with no Shame.

It takes two to tango, and when all is said and done, the blame shall be for both, and by then, the damage shall have been far too great to envisage.

It is upto the Sudanese army really to decide. The RSF is open to negotiations to end this war and protect what is left of the Sudanese state.
Yet the Sudanese army is making imaginary claimed that it could defeat the RSF. Keep in mind that this is an army that had never defeated a rebel group within the country in history.

It's funny how the RSF are so desperate they had to force literal 14 years old children to fight for them, meanwhile the sudanese armed forces has people from all ethnicities and tribes across sudan already volunteering themselves and taking up arms against the janja menace. If it weren't for the foreign actors like uaekikes supplying the RSF I promise you the baggara would only be part of history books

South sudan invited and meet up with RSF officials

Probably part of its ongoing and pointless 'mediation' efforts.

The Juba regime is just worried that something will happen to its oil revenue; they only recently increased the share of the health budget to 7% from 1%, and that apparently only covers administrative costs.

The average South Sudanese doesn't benefit from the oil; I wouldn't mind dousing all the officials in their precious oil and setting them alight

Hemetti offers peace in exchange for Sudanese army leadership change

He hinted at the possibility of reaching an agreement within 72 hours if this condition is met: the removal of the current army leadership. let us hope he means it!
