America needs to borrow money, every year to round out its budget. This wealth fund will be filled with loaned money, increasing the total debt. A sovereign wealth fund is a good idea, the same way having a savingsaccount is a good idea, but if hooyo needs to pitch in to pay for your petrol every week, maybe increase your total income / cut expenditure so that you have something to save.

Texas hos are freezing rn thanks to that third world ass power grid system. lots of black americans living on the mississippi delta have barely any access to clean water. The southern states look dilapidated and are falling apart other than a few wealthy neighbourhoods. America is just a gamble of if you're rich or poor. the inequality gap is astounding. GDP per capita is meaningless. HDI is where it should be measured. there is no point counting numbers when a good portion are living in relative or absolute poverty.

I don't expect America to eradicate relative poverty, but I do expect the absolute poverty rate to be minimal at best.

The southern states recently industrialized the only places that look extremely poor is Alabama and Mississippi places like Atlanta and Houston are the fastest growing cities economically and in population give them another decade you forget Georgia looked like a African country until the 90s

The United States including puerto Rico has the 20th highest HDI in the world

Minnesota has a extremely high HDI comparable to Sweden and Massachusetts has an HDI comparable to Denmark the northern states are just really wealthy

Texas and Florida are the wealthiest southern states with an HDI equivalent to the UAE

California is the wealthiest state on paper with a gdp per capita north of 100k and a GDP that has surpassed Britain and expected this year to surpass Germany but in reality it’s HDI is equivalent to Britain
