I think we are very long way from oil money . maybe 10 years if we lucky. have do the surveys then people analyze it. Do the engineering for accessing the area which involves calculating depth different rock types. Then you have to procure all the equipment. then you need plan to haul the oil. a lot of time which is done by pipe to save costs from rig to shore. barges and ships are sometimes used too.
if any of it done wrong you can have environmental disaster so its best to take it slow and steady. of course all this hinges on us finding oil that can be extracted profitably. Not all oil falls under this category and many sit underground for decades until prices increase or technology gets better

the three oil blocks are off the coast of Mareeg, Cigo and Hobyo as stated by the FGS themselves. Our federal system is based on clan lines ffs. Why would this be any different?

I believe it’s 10% for offshore oil and 20% for onshore. FGS way too generous for offshore imo. They should’ve pocketed at least 60% if not 65%.
