Wallahi this is not normal behavior

What the hell does abtiris have to do with recognising the fact that half Somalis have Somali heritage from their maternal side?? You are the type to leave these comments and I know your kind. Keep spreading toxic messages.
Well Abtirsi don’t consider the maternal side. So that is probably why they say those things because Somali identifying themselves by their paternal lineage. Now I rarely leave comments on anything let alone on a random soccer kid post. I only leave comments on engaging content which is rarely ever the case in Somali content creation.

Why do these weirdos feel the need to ruin posts in this way? When did the tweet suggest he was fully Somali? Why do they want mixed raced kids to not even mention their mother’s background? These incels are so strange. Hardly any group behave this way to this extent that they’ll spam comments about someone with a mother of their background’s kids having nothing to do with them especially when it’s something good.

I know other groups hate it when their women marry out, but I’ve never seen a kid with a Pakistani mother being told he can’t talk about their Pakistani heritage, or a kid with an Arab mother. Hardly any community behaves this way.

Although I agree with your sentiments and how these trolls online feel the need to go the extra mile. One thing I will have to correct you on is that other groups will say pretty much the same things vis a vis their own communities. It's actually pertinent you mentioned Pakistanis. Have a look at the replies on this thread they made because a Pakistani girl married a Somali guy and how any kids they have will be given hell. All the way down to racist comments.

Calling out Somali trolls is fine, but to say we are worse than others is a fabrication and not true. If you think other groups don't behave the same, you clearly haven't been online.

No surprise, they’re even harass Somali barawani and reer beenadir athletes like Muhyadin with weird comments about not being “real Somalis”.

@Angelina

Are these the Pakis you were talking about just before?

I could never take disrespect from Pakis

They always blame fobs when most of them don’t even use twitter

They’re weird for that. There’s no one more humble or positive than a FOB. You see these guys flooding the comment section of an ajanib just for displaying their flag. These negative weirdos are definitely diaspora

It’s not only a Somali centric problem. Other communities engage in it you are right. I have seen some vile stuff said about when cadaan women get with madow men, madow men marrying out, madow women marrying out, Asian women marry out etc. They say the most vilest stuff about them. Like very horrible. Sometimes you see these kids make videos of how they were treated and isolated. How they were never accepted by the other half of their heritage. This is a worldwide problem. And it’s not only the men spewing such vitriol you will see women doing it too. It’s very odd.

Since many of us surround ourselves with Somali content we end up seeing this. But when you venture into other communities content you see the same stuff. Idk how we would be able to eradicate these problems when no other community has been able to do so.

Firstly, that guy isn’t Somali. Secondly, if you see a rapist community like Pakistan doing it, it means you’ve also hit the bottom of the barrel and need to change.

I actually share the view that only people with somali dad are somali, but there’s no need to say it out loud and stink up the place. Just keep your mouth shut and let people live.

Some of the Somali females on this forum seem to love to fetishize the idea that Somali men are Nazi like regarding their women.

On Twitter alone, you have white supremacist accounts dedicated to warning of the dangers of miscegenation i.e white women marrying outside their race. These accounts have over 100k followers. There are at least a dozen or so of these accounts. Yet you never hear anyone speaking about it as a white problem. The Paki and Arab accounts on Twitter have some of the most vile racism directed at the women who marry out.

Show me one Somali account that has even a fraction of the followers these accounts have.

Somalis are one of the most open minded communities to interracial marriage. A foreigner can come to Somalia, get married to a Somali woman and be treated with dignity and respect. Look at Somalia and Djibouti, there are entire communities of people who have cross married giving birth to new communities.

Just another day of Somalis being a total embarrassment online. It's hardly something new.

One thing that is very unique about the Somali community specifically on social media is that they feel they need to give their irrelevant opinions on everything. This is Ajeeb.

Many other communities share these same sentiments when it comes to their women marrying interacially, but they usually keep it quiet and understand they need to keep their image clean. But Somalis on the other hand they have to go to the public eye and show how racist they are.

It's like we want other people to hate us. So let's not complain about the future when ajnabis start hating Somalis.

Maya Jama is a Somali ancestrally and yet i don't see trolls give her a break. She is called a mongrel, a gaal jezzy, every name under the book etc, many even refuse to acknowledge her as a Somali. This is not a misogynistic issue, it's an issue with wanting to craft a perfected Somali image. We don't have a great country-wise image but as a people we want to keep our conservative outlook even if it involves a little xenophobia.

Somalia might be a terrorist pirate enclave but the people are seen as proud Muslims, eugenisists and protective over their way of life. Don't expect Somalis to be liberal in their outlook it is the only consistent thing they have left from their motherland.

it’s a short sighted post. The reason why Maya is insulted is because she is gaal. If she had two practicing Muslim parents, wore a hijab and wasn’t on the scene and dating ajnabi rappers, they wouldn’t be saying any of that. Maya would still be talked about the way she is if she was fully Somali for the simple fact that she’s not Muslim. Their issue with her doesn’t stem from the fact that she’s mixed since in their eyes she is Somali but it’s because she doesn’t practice Somali culture.

But if Maya had a Somali mother, was actually practicing, they wouldn’t accept her AT all even if her image is one that is seen as acceptable. That Somali Algerian footballer is a Muslim, looks Somali and hasn’t done anything to compromise the Somali image and if his father was Somali he would be celebrated.

You compared apples and oranges with the Maya argument and you know it is due to misogyny, that Algerian Somali guy did nothing and isn’t doing anything at odds with Somali daqan, it’s his mother they have an issue with, so yes it’s misogynistic.

Oh how clueless you are? Ever heard of Jiheye? Well I’ve got news for you, he has 250,000 followers 😂

Guess what his content is based on? Exposing, bashing and hating on women in IR unions.

I can’t believe you mentioned 100,000 when we have double that already and more channels popping up.

Not gonna lie, I was disappointed when I found out he is half Somali. We don’t even have any full Somali professional players.

Are these the Pakis you were talking about just before?

I never said they don’t bash their women, that wasn’t my point, my point was that I’ve never seen a half Pakistani point blank being told that can’t mention their Pakistani side? When you see mixed raced people, do you see one side constantly saying they have nothing to do with them? The only group who did this and do this amongst them are white supremacist and their one drop rule.
