Lol wrath of Sade, the one that gave us new Toys in 2003?
We won't refused some fresh toys.
And stop saying Dir in Xeraale there 3 jifo of Fiqi out of 8, even these 3 jifo don't live in that area alone.
Dir meesha ma joogte cida Fiqi Maxamed iska dhiciya.
@Sophisticate
I do agree with you and Samaroon interests should be our primary objective. I just don't understand the obsession that some of our kinfolk have with Mogadishu. We are more impacted decisions made in Addis Ababa than ones made in Mogadishu. I just cannot stand the way they actually care about Somaliweyne so much when it never benefited us in anyway. Not one road nor any infrastructure was built in Awdal from 1960 to 1990. The only time we actually were able to see any sort of development was after the collapse of the Somali state. When we signed independence from the British we had our own region which was known as the Borama district and made up the borders of what is Awdal today and the representative responsiblefor the region was Haji Ibrahim. When we joined Somalia, they lumped us in with Hargeisa and Berbere districts and called us Waqooyi Galbeed. Somalia has alway been our worst enemy. I agree a future as an autonomous region within SL or outside doesn't bother me. I just don't want anything to do with Mogadishu as a set up to the way it was pre 1990. It was the worst 30 years ever and that's what many people fantasize about.
Ik sxb, but they love to call us Fiqi Maxamed Dir, to feel better (not even all Fiqi Maxamed) only Maxamud Fiqi & Cumar Fiqi are fighting them, there are 6 other Fiqi Maxamed Clans not in this beef.Don't pay much attention to the guy you're replying to. He is a merchant of fake news.
Please do not derail this thread. Create a thread of your own.Ik sxb, but they love to call us Fiqi Maxamed Dir, to feel better (not even all Fiqi Maxamed) only Maxamud Fiqi & Cumar Fiqi are fighting them, there are 6 other Fiqi Maxamed Clans not in this beef.
I know you are talking to your cuzzin but as this is a wider topic i thought i'll add my 2 cents. No one is fantasizing. I just think you made a miscalculation. Look, Awdal has mostly raised money for its own development projects. What has SL really done for them in the grand scheme? Stewing over Somalia not building you a road or investing in a port. Cannot eclipse the fact that you came up empty in the past 30 years. No roads built to Djibouti and Zelia and no port to speak of. In fact, SL sidelined a road from DJ to Borama many times. Your taxes go to SL and pebbles come back in the form of reinvestment. Prior to the debacle in LA you had Reer Borama get double the property taxes at gun point by uniformed men sent from Hargeysa. Please thank IIahi and the Dhulbahante for their bravery and in creating a diversion. Because without them your people might have been forced to overpay red eyed moryaan but with cripping khat addictions.
I hope you come around. Instead of feeling sorrowful about a Somalia that no longer exists. In this new political climate you can have more say and sway as a semi-independent province in a recognized country where your taxes actually fund you. Contrary to what you may think we Samaroon don't have a Pollyana view of Mogadishu as you are portraying. We merely believe in fairness and justice.
I wish Laascaanood well. You may count on them for political support in the future.
I was just trying to reason with the fellow and address some prior comments. Anywho, we should probably leave it for another thread I'A like @Thegoodshepherd said. Instead of deviating.I know you are talking to your cuzzin but as this is a wider topic i thought i'll add my 2 cents.
If the are any grivances and injustances, why dont you take the fight againt Somaliland and or Pres Musa Bixi directly instead of putting your self on the line for another clans grievance against Somaliland.
It does not make sense to me just saying.
Quite embarrassing. Ethiopia should never be involved in our internal affairsLatest updates on the political front:
Uncle Sam initiated negotiations, and put Ethiopia in charge of negotiations with a special envoy being appointed visiting both Hargeysa & Garowe. Members of SSC Garaado & Leadership Council came to Garowe to meet with the envoy.
SSC negotiating points:
i) Remove SL militias from SSC territories, with Oog being their nearest bases,
ii) No negotiations shall commence till (i) has been satisfied,
iii) SSC is part of Somalia, is not, has never been, and will never be part of SL,
iv) Negotiations could ONLY commence post satisfying (i), (ii), and agreeing to (iii), and could take place at a neutral venue to be agreed upon at a later time.
SL negotiating points:
i) Shall relocate its militias to Tuula Samakaab,
ii) All non-SL militias should pull out of Las Anod,
ii) Negotiations with SSC should take place inside SL, as they consider SSC part of SL.
The special envoy returned to Hargeysa to further discuss SSC negotiation points with the SL.

itβs like we donβt have federal governmentQuite embarrassing. Ethiopia should never be involved in our internal affairs
HSM is of flying somewhereitβs like we donβt have federal government
As things stand, I am very much in favour of the latter, for that shall serve the public interest in SL in the long run - they could thank SSC later. They have been fed porkies, and have been dealing in tookh, and empty bravado for far too long. There are only 2 choices here for Iidooria. Either they accept that they have been kicked out and they run with their tail between their legs to save what little they have. Or they will be pushed further than Oog with missiles raining down on their land for a change.
Unfortunately that is the sad state of our affairs.Quite embarrassing. Ethiopia should never be involved in our internal affairs
Of course we don't.itβs like we donβt have federal government
Thats kinda sadOf course we don't.
Somalia will remain Ethiopia's slave, until the day a President sits on that seat that has an IQ in the triple digits. Calasow and the other NEO-USC morons would rather act like SNM adoons instead of protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the Somali Nation.
They hate Dhulbahante more than they hate being disrespected by SNM and foreign nations.
This is what happens when people lack pride.
Thats kinda sad
