Puntland is doing the right thing. If Puntland engages as a state, Iidooria will claim it's a territorial dispute, but if it's locals vs invaders, they can't apply political and financial pressure!
Furthermore, Puntland is giving legitimacy to the nascent SSC-Khaatumo State and its people, which is very important.

Our sub-clans will fight independently from Puntland with the vehicles and ammo we own. All the clan militias are on the road right now. Supplies have already been prepped, check Kasmaal media on Facebook.

Deni's is the best policy. People are organising themselves, arrived through 3 main fronts, and have reached already. Reer Mudug, Doollo, and Bari got there on day zero. reer Sanaag are onsite too.

Garaado are now strategising about phase II of the SSC project, which is when the real heavy lifting shall be begin, where resources an political clout in SSC Admin configuration will be required. This is where FGS and PL could be of use. It is no longer about Las Anod, but stabilisation & sustainability post removal of pro-SL militia.

I don't buy this argument for a couple of reasons:
- PL can join the fight without claiming their involvement, Dhulbahante soldiers in PL joined the fight and SL is already blaming PL so it doesn't matter.
- most of the weapons is in government hands so clan militias will not be as effective.
-PL can join the fight and also give legitimacy to SSC, it's not mutually exclusive.
- if Somaliland cries 'territorial dispute' that doesn't change the facts on the ground, the locals are the ones who are against SL and fighting them.

The only reason Deni isn't joining is because he wants voter registration to continue and is focusing on that.

People aren't giving locations, except a few. Kaptan Ayuub confirmed that Ciise Maxamuud alone sent 50 Tekniiko to Tukaraq. Siwaaqroon's BeelDaaje said he's also coming, he was delayed because of a trip abroad, but is cutting it short.

So, looks like the clans are all ready for the green-light.

Nobody is watching from side-lines, since day 1, people have been prepping supplies.
