They fear a diplomatic fall out in PL, that's why they need to learn the 'art of diplomacy' and argue PL is doing what any country would do and put the ball in their court and show the short-comings of expecting us to tolerate an armed secessionist in our nation not only is that illegal, their trying to force others into their illegalities. Puntland diplomacy is the weakest I have seen.

If I took over PL diplomacy team, I would advise them do not 'respond blaming' the other side, that's what all african 3rd world nations do and the I.C will sense that.
We need to talk 'law of the land' is 'federal' and like any country we are removing secessionists(this will make them empathize with us since they would do the same in their nations with secessionists).
We must say our federalism isn't mere 'speeches' and we will 'enforce' it all the way to awdal. But we sit there idly saying 'federalism' and when the time comes to implement it, we are 'silent'. I can argue for PL and say to the I.C when u move ur embasssies out of shipping containers and into mogadishu and trust mogadishu judgement, only then will PL reconsider it's position on the SFG. See that's diplomacy, im demanding the world to trust hamar firsts before they ask PL too. Plus we r not impressed with SFG not being able to walk down the street, checkpoints, amisom brothels, it reminds us of a 'war capital' of th world, surely PL a peaceful region cannot be thrown into that volatile mix.

Dhulbahante Garaads are now begging for negotiations. Only two days ago did some SL troops start leaving their bases. Initially Somaliland wanted to solve differences through negotiation. That failed because greedy garaads thought they had enough man power to attempt a power grab. They failed miserably. The vast majority of LA civilians didn't heed Garaad dhuxul's words of "Dagaalka gala". There are allegations that even he fled today. The dhulo garaads values have fragmented in the face of defeat. They have began infighting and scars have formed that could take decade to heal. They lost the majority of the leverage they could've willed against SL. They lost the will and trust of their people. Failure after failure. I never thought i would actually start to feel bad for them, but now i have started to. We will shortly see more garaads publicly splitting with the conflict creator/exploiter garaads. Negotiations are about to begin. That's why SL has chosen to not capture the innermost sections of the city. Somaliland has won a undeniably resounding victory. The important Garaads will come to the table and receive a handful of benefits to save face and return to being Somalilanders. Even though i am not a supporter. I have to congratulate Bihi on such a great performance. This will be a great send off for him. Lessons learned: Never mess with Somaliland.
