I've noticed people think Somali accents are simplistic like North vs South, when there is the North-East and its various accents and dialect. And the Galbeed area etc.

Even in those youtube videos, they always get someone from Hargeisa vs Mogadishu. It's overly simplified.

There’s even pretty clear differences within those areas too. Like I’m pretty sure most Somali people could tell the difference between reer Hargeisa/reer Burco.

Different words too, I know in Ceerigaabo they’ll say “gacaliye” go to Borama and it’s “huuno”
