High fertility don't matter their all dead by 50(life expectancy), infant mortality is high also assume 300 dead babies per 1000 rate, the health and education rate is shocking these guys live as illerate and unskilled plus on top of that sick(horrible water quality, sewage, expired food have its effect) and obviously income will be low also due to those important human development indexes. That's not even discussing the ones who r in the malnutrition pool.
By the time they die at 50 and above, they don't reach what is known as the wisdom age to give back knowledge transfers for the young ones and the cycle recycles generation after generation and what u essentially have is Herd population at best.
I'm suprised many ppl hold hope knowing those facts, talk about stubborn. Realistically what should be discussed is putting them out of their misery thru birth control and population expansion pressure from oromos.

Healthcare is very cheap and easy to implement. Somalia's infant mortality is without a doubt below 300/1000.
Most children born survive, I'd estimate around 90% of kids born in Somalia survive.
