These fake white arab roman leftovers like Syrians, lebanese, libyan have taken over Arab identity even though original arabs felt closer to somalis/habeshas
this is cap. Maybe their are more ppl in ethiopia who speak arabic than somalia due to population, but most eritreans do not speak arabic. its just an offical language there like it is in somaliaThere are more Ethiopians who speak Arabic than Somalis and the majority Eritreans speak Arabic yet they don’t go around calling themselves Arabs. The chance of Arabs finding one who speaks it is way high compared to Somalis.
So, why can’t loudmouth malis on social media learn from Ethiopians, keep it to themselves and lay low instead of embarassing themselves?
Actually a lot of Ethiopians claim to have Arab roots, and many Eritreans identify as Arab. There are more Ethiopians who speak Arabic than Somalis and the majority Eritreans speak Arabic yet they don’t go around calling themselves Arabs. Nope they would be far more savage than those countries you listed. Yemen, Libya, and Syria all have richer history and are more civilized than GCC countries.GCC countries won a geological lottery, nothing about them innately that made them wealthy. Without that geological lottery win, they would be savage nations like Yemen, Libya, and Syria.
Thats cap. Ethiopians dont claim that maybe they claim to come from Sulieman/solomon. and no eritreans claim to be arab. except the rashaida peoepleActually a lot of Ethiopians claim to have Arab roots, and many Eritreans identify as Arab.
Lol they do, even the orthodox Amhara often claim Arab roots.Thats cap. Ethiopians dont claim that maybe they claim to come from Sulieman/solomon. and no eritreans claim to be arab. except the rashaida peoeple
Go and meet the Sahos, Jebertis, Bilen, Tigre and the Beni Amers. I can guarantee you they speak Arabic. All Eritrean Muslims do.this is cap. maybe the beja, but the rest dont at all.Lol they do, even the orthodox Amhara often claim Arab roots.
Plenty of Eritreans claim to be Arab... The Tigre, Bilen and Beja too. Some of the Tigrinya peasants even claim it as well to feel closer to the Beja.
Bilen, Tigre, Nara, etc are very similar to the Beja. Tigrinya are also wannabe Beja, they are ashamed of their roots due to being subjugated by lowlander Muslims.maybe the beja, but the rest dont at all.
and amhara wouldn't claim anything other than amhara or ethiopia, they are very tribalistic. wouldnt be surprised if they said arabs came from them
lmfao wlhi my mom is saho and doesn't speak arabic but she speaks tigrinya . where would they even learn arabic from?Go and meet the Sahos, Jebertis, Tigre and the Beni Amers. I can guarantee you they speak Arabic. All Eritrean Muslims do.
Many of them were refugees in Sudan, or did business there so they learned Arabic. It's not hard to learn the language tbh, especially for religious reasons.lmfao wlhi my mom is saho and doesn't speak arabic but she speaks tigrinya . where would they even learn arabic from?

I don't think Eritrea took a proper census since the Italians left. Either way I know for a fact that plenty of Eritreans learn Arabic, whether it be for religious or business purposes."Languages of Eritrea - Wikipedia

Yep, and it was a gradual process. First only the wealthy traders learned Arabic, then they'd only hire workers that also spoke Arabic which led to a linguistic shift.Wiki doesn’t mean much. Remember, lots of information from both countries are disorted for political reasons.
I’ve met and seen them speak Arabic as their main language when communicating with other Muslim ethnicities.
The Sahos mostly learned it from Sudan as refugees then it spread to the new generation who can only speak Arabic. Whereas, Arabic language has always been part of the Lowland ethnic groups because they were part of the Ottoman and Egypt control until the late 19th century.
The ones who doesn’t speak it are the Saho grandparents (who lived in their village all of their lives before their kids brought them out) and the Tigrinyas who live in segregated communities and don’t live with them.
What sahos are going to sudan for as refugees? they go to tigray most of them. and my entire family in eritrea the only ones who can speak arabic are the ones who went to saudi arabia to work there.Wiki doesn’t mean much.
