There seems to be a lot of confusion in the last few pages.
FGM is a horrible, horrible practice. It’s not Islamic at all. It’s called fircooni/Pharaonic circumcision because it’s associated with the Ancient Egyptians.
Sunnah circumcision or gudniin is deemed permissible (not obligatory) but it is considered waajib in the Shafi’i’madhab.
This involves a trimming of the clitoris to increase sexual pleasure.
It’s known as hoodectomy or even labiaplasty and it’s a popular cosmetic procedure these days.
Notice how this practice isn’t to the detriment of a woman’s health or psychological well-being?

You can't really perform circumcision on women tho
The only reason we have circumsision done on men is because the extra skin can collect dirt and germs which makes it unhygienic

I guess maybe you don’t understand that uncircumcised women have labia minora, and that during fgm type II & III that’s completely or partially removed. That quote is therefore saying that uncircumcised women have an issue where secretions or fluids are trapped in the labia minora which turns rancid, causing infections etc. We can then infer from that statement that the alteration or removal of the labia is beneficial. That’s essentially what he’s saying. Furthermore the fact that he mentioned anything at all about the labia minora already tells us he’s referring to FGM II or III. If it's "Sunnah", would you like to have FGM done on you? So that you don't feel any more sexual pleasure from your husband. Sex, peeing and periods become painful as well.

You are misunderstanding like the rest of them. FGM and circumcision are two different things. One is the complete removal which is haram. The other is the sunnah and it is the small removal of a certain area of clitoris which doesn’t change anything (pleasure wise) but it has health benefits. Does that make sense? Everyone needs to stop calling the sunnah one FGM because it isn’t.

I posted this article because the guy was asking me about sexual pleasure and if women who have FGM do feel anything. Why are you talking about other topics unrelated to anything I was talking about? I have complete faith in the Islamic article I listed and if it states that female circumcision has health benefits then I will take that as 100% sahih. I won’t put the Islamic scholar above another article which talks about sexual pleasure in FGM women.
You see your logic? Putting an Islamic article which is talking about health benefits against an article which is talking about the sexual pleasure in FGM women.
