according to this https://data.unhcr.org/en/situations/cccm_somalia , The state of Somalia called Somaliland has a higher ratio of IDPs, 2mill populatation (MAX and im being generous) I'm not talking about the SSC regions I've estimated the total amount of IDPs in Isaaq regions to be 214000. Would you say you don't have the resources or full capacity to keep them going too?

we have no idp camps. And tbh I dotn care wheather we do have enough spaces for idp camps, somaliland is for somaliland.

What did I lie? about my previous statement in relocating bantu somalis to Tanzania. I definatley regret that statement and have apologise from that. And nowhere on this thread did I say for bantu somalis to be kicked out of Somalia. They can remain in the south since they been their for centuries. However Puntland they're not native to.

Thats virtually impossible since we aren't on friendly terms with Somalia. And bantu somalis have no business being in the north let alone Puntland.

Is not me being racist because from what I seen and heard bantu somalis are definitely miskeen and hardworkers and have been in Somalia for centuries. I wish them notjing but good health and success, and I honestly mean that. Is just I'm not used to seeing them in Somaliland so is still new to me if I'm honest. But not so new when I see them in the South since they have historical ties to Somalia.

What do you believe Puntland should do @pinkyandthebrain. If your neighbours are going through it would you not host them? It's just how things go, people travel to where they believe is safe for their family. We as Somalis should be the most understanding of that fact

Totally agree All somalis and bantu somalis should be in safe places. Until Somalia get together and relocate them back to their farming region.

Somaliland don't have that problem though so that shouldn't be a question. Puntland is up north and shares borders with hawiye not bantu. Is still ofcourse commendable that Puntland is serving refugees, however they should now start to consider relocating them safely to other areas in the south that are safer. I'm sure they cannot forever be in camps. Life moves on and things change.

Bantu live in the south and a good portion of hawiye land is under AS. So living amongst them isn't the safest option either. Relocating them to where exactly in the south that's safer? Xamar has been relatively safe for about a year or two idk exactly how long its been safe but not that long and you never know when the next AS attack might happen.
