See that first bolded sentence? Allah swt talks about those who ignored the revelation of the Quran because their forefathers were misguided.

@King Wiilwaal didnt reveal anything. He didn't prove anything nor provide the word of Allah. He said "f*ck Arabs f*ck Islam" basically. That's most certainly not a revelation from Allah.

@LondonMo replied with the fact that his lineage has accepted Islam and that Islam was a part of Somali culture. The verse talks about Allah's revelation and some pagans rejecting it. You can't just turn it on its head and use it as a legitimate attack again @LondonMo because then you have already corrupted it and it's meaning. And still then it doesn't apply.

"But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers

On (high) thrones, looking (at all things)."

Even if it were true that Somalis have Arab ancestry, that's one man from 1500 years ago. But it's not true. Its a fairy tale. Somalis are not the only ones who claim Arab lineage. Nigerians, Indonesians, Malaysians, Muslim Filipinos all claim the same thing.

We are harming ourselves politically and economically being in that organization.

Absolute gob-shit!! Somalis don't have Arab decent. That's just our fantasy created gradually by people who wanted to assimilate the religion more into Somali society. In the past, it was common for the Arabs to believe that they were the true Muslims.

Nonetheless, Somalis are nomads believed to have originated in the southern Ethiopian highlands who then migrated to north Somalia. Somalis being the nomads they are, traveled south most likely looking for water. Our language is Cushitic and Arab is Semitic but what's even more interesting is that Amhara people speak a Semitic language but you'd never hear them claim Arab ancestry. Simply put, it's self hate to assume you're anything besides black and African.

We should stay, we have common interests with a number of nations in the Arab league like Sudan and Ethiopia. Egypt always wanted a strong Somalia so they could check Ethiopia when they would start playing with the Nile, we have had excellent relations historically. They wish we weren't in our situation today.

Not all Arab nations treat us badly anyway, Egypt and Syria were very good. And the racism that we face is our fault, they didn't call us abd before the civil war because we had a respectable nation. We destroyed our image, we just to them now lol.
