He's also claiming that Karanles are assimilated into Somalis, i.e. they have Oromo origin. I don't know where to begin with addressing this claim:francis: @Step a side
If I am wrong have you ever hard of the Werra Hume you will find these guys in DegehBur and Bombas they are the most eastern point AQ after the Akisho (Obo) and jarso.

lets conclude This argument rq. The original ''Ethnic Somalis'' have assimilated 95 percent of the Hume (Barsuug) tribe into the dir. The Origin of the Gurgure is very much disputed however I provided a source which shows that the Gurgura them selves literally had claimed they are oromo, and only claimed smallness after 91 for there political benefits and this is less then 40 years ago. The AQ do not practise the Gada Law which includes waaq, Adoption of random people etc. the ''Ethnic somali'' assimilated many clans into them including reer Galan who are found in the Majerteen, and Isse, The Wardiq, the Garre who speak 100 percent oromo but still claim somali somehow, the reer hingiinle of the Dhulbahante, the Gerri, and the Karanle.

Baabili can be under Chinese led administration for all I care. It doesn’t mean the people will be Chinese. Before Oromo led administration you had Menelik. Before Menelik you had Egyptians. Before Egyptians etc etc etc
the people are oromo.

if I were to ask a gurgura 100 years ago he would not say this. if the gurgura are somali how is there clan name oromo, if the reer Galan are somali how is my clans name oromo. bro they speak oromo, and I do not believe this story. Gurgura have been somalized and now want to claim Somali for there political interest since the other oromo clans such as Ala war with them often.
I can also find sources which claim the gurgura are Nole??

With all due respect, please follow along our interaction.

You claimed that Gurguras are Oromo and only started going by Somali recently for political interest. Meanwhile, I said that Gurguras have Somali origin, but due to the Oromo migration to present day eastern Ethiopia and the events that followed, they later on became part of the Nole clan.

Of course you'll find sources that claim Gurgura as Oromo, because as I previously told you; they joined an Oromo clan 4-500 years ago. That doesn't say anything about their origin.

And if they are Oromos as you claim, how come there historical records that claim them as Somalis? Or a mix between Oromo and Somali? Doesn't this go against your current beliefs?

You're asking a hypothetical question about 100 years ago. I just gave you some documentations evidence from 100 years ago that made reference to Gurgura being Somali. Do you think it was made up? Even @Garaad diinle showed you how Gurguras were referred to as Somalis in the Futuh which predates this.

alright as I said before the Futuh has been updated many times so even if it claims the gurgura was somali there wasn't somali then. also why waste your time going as far back just look at the subclass?? Sannaya, Sanchele, Gala Waaq, kundublee, these are all oromo names debunk this..

Who are these Werra Hume? There are very few to no Oromos outside of border areas. Unless they are recent migrants.

And I'm pretty sure that Jaarso are the eastern point of AQ.

the Werra Hume are assimilated into the Dir they were once a very large powerful clan they live in the area between Gursum, and the road to Somaliland, but just like the reer Galan the ones past the somali border i.e Jijiga speak Af somali. they are a AQ tribe under the Daga (Jarso, Nole, Hume) , and are the first uncles of Gurgura.

The Jaarso today live from Harar to near the border of Somaliland, and im pretty sure in Somaliland so yes them and the Obo are.

Man stop the bs. Why would it be given an Oromo name, when it's not an Oromo city? 🤣

You guys also call it magaalaa Jigjigatti and not Jigjiga. I'm very familiar with Oromo people to have heard this enough in my lifetime :mjkkk:

funny joke bro Hawuya Guda is pronounced Hawiya Duda Hawiya literally means interest, or the big interest in af oromo.

You jokeman. All those town are Hawiye towns. Hawiye live there. Our elders making it clear in this video that we have an “ethnic” border that differentiates us.
