Beautuful Somali bantu & Lamagoodle couple Allahumabarik

Madhibaan don’t only live in the south, in fact there’s probably more of them in the Waqooyi. They also live in Galbeed. You can meet them in Hargaysa and Jigjiga.

If people were told that they are ‘Hebrew’ and ‘Odd’, it’s due to ignorance. Not because it’s true or what most of them claim.
also I am right that the Ethnic majority somalis don't let the Madhiban marry there daughters true??

Madhibaan are only 5k in Ethiopia which means they just moved to cities and things like that. they are also only 48k in Somaliland

Gurgura are oromo but that dispute is for another time the Babille (Karanle) have been heavily assimilated into the somalis, and lets not forget about Hume who live as far as Degah bur there whole tribe is lost like actually if you ask a person about Hume they will have no clue this is a deadly trend going around the border.

Brother, let’s not deny facts. Regarding Gurgura, their origin is not disputed. Their lineage is Somali, but in the past, because they were assimilated, many of them claimed Oromo. Today, a significant of them claim their true origin.

And Karanle are Somalis. They were never assimilated into Somali from Oromo, it’s the opposite. Which only happened to some of them, the rest are still like other Somalis.

It’s not difficult to fact check this. All sources on the internet will tell you this. In real life, all Somalis and Oromos who live in the borders know about this.

With that said, I’m not denying assimilation, but we were talking about how many Somalis or Oromos were assimilation into their ethnic group. And you’re bringing up assimilation into Oromo, and thus arguing against what you said earlier.

You’re continuing to talk about things you don’t know, lol.

Kulaha only 5K in Ethiopia. This is ridiculous. Forget about the Somali region, they are one of the biggest non-Darood clans in Jigjiga.

And there’re definitely close to, if not more than, 48k of Gabooye in Hargaysa/Maroodi-Jeex alone.

you really want to dig deep into the history of the Gurgure lets dig deep also the karanle have a disputed origin some claim oromo whilst some don't read this to get more educated brother Abdurahman, Chala (2020). "Reconstructing the identities of Afran Qalo Oromo: A case of Babile Tribe a View of Recent Raiding Conflicts in Babile, Eastern Ethiopia". read this source which clearly points out that the Gurgura are oromo and claimed somali origin after 1991 Worku, B. (2017). "The Status of Dire Dawa and the Appointment of a Mayor: 1991-2010:Core-Periphery in the City Council". Historical Research Letter. I can bring more sources if you like?

To explain for you again; the only reason some Karanle claim Oromo is because they were Oromozied, not that they have Oromo origin. Gurgura became Oromo during the great Oromo conquest of eastern Ethiopia, in which they allied with the Nole and later on became part of them.

Bro, Afran Qallo itself is a confederation of people with different origin, many of them (formerly) Somalis. Just ask @AfranQallo who is AQ himself. He will even tell you about Gurguras and Karanles that you're confused about.

This is true and common sense. Hawiye are Somali although they’ve been added into Babile clan. Many clans have had the same happen. Gurgura were adopted into Noole, Bursuukh adopted into Humme. They all know/knew their geneology and still had a claim. These are the larger clans adopted and not fully orominized. Other such as sub sub clans are pretty Oromo today.

The opposite happend for the Jarso. They became Somali but strangely not adopted into the clan they interacted with.

Your article start off by saying that Babili is a son of AQ, which is incorrect, if we're talking about lineages.

you are using a man with no source as a source and im showing you documented sources as a reference you are not here with me. For Gurgura we can already be certain they are Oromo from the name Gurgura literally one who sells or trades. and the great Oromo conquest wb the somali conquest when my own tribe was assimilated.

No, I used him because he's an Oromo/AQ who happened to know about his people's origin. But your own article contains some inaccuracies. And it was written in 2020, and by an Oromo. How about non-Somali/Oromo sources? In particular historical documentations.

If you want to know about Gurgura, just read Futuh al-Habash.

Futuh al Habasha has been updated many times hence there was nothing called SOMALI or OROMO then just sub clans. my source is still documented and approved though??.

You don't make sense at all. Without even entertaining your claims, the Gurguras at the time were part of Ifat/Adal, meanwhile most Oromos/Gallas were not even Muslims. And you're trying to convince me that they were part of the invading Gallas, since that's when Oromos like Itu, Ala, Oborra etc. arrived there, lol.

Read upon your history about how and when Oromos became Muslims. 'Islam in Ethiopia' by J Spencer Trimingham (1952) is a good book.
