It's definitely one of my most wild theories. I do wonder though if those pillars pliny mentions still exist and are underwater. What those inscriptions would tell us.
The pillar and ancient port cities are definitely underwater.

it's also called ''dabshid'' where people jump around fire logs and spray water at their house and chant something
There’s loads of names for it :dead: .

Shiekhs come around and spray some Quran Saar water on the crops and make dua.People jump over the fire for fun whilst chanting a poem 🧐

Such tests are nonsense. Intelligence tests depend on several factors, including environment/healthy nutrition/education. If you put a European boy in the same conditions, I don't think he would do well.

WAIT

this means that the Somali year starts in the summer? I knew that we were intellectually people. I never understood the whole starting the new year in the winter anyways

Keep going. I know one of these similarities in names have to be accurate.
There's a number of strange correlations and straight up shared words with Babylonian civilizations like the Sumerians. The Sumerians have 'Nin' but it means lady or priestess/princess lol

Said Shidad gives one example each for a word shared also with Sumerian and Akkadian (and generally the Afro-Asiatic languages) and he mentions more in other articles: https://www.intechopen.com/chapters/87000

It is very interesting that Oromo was apparently used in deciphering Sumerian

Ancient Somalis were very advanced and smart, I wish there was more archeology in somalia so we could know more about them. And it wasn’t just ancient Somalis, medieval somalis were also very intelligent and advanced, we’ve fallen so much 😔
