Maybe I’m bias but I believe the Horn of Africa was the origin of civilisation. It is very interesting that Oromo was apparently used in deciphering Sumerian

Omg I’m so disappointed in myself. Please tell me if it’s still used? Or is it abandoned? Girl drop them POEMS
No fuckin way you gotta be joking I always thought that was some online hotep nonsense. Damm that's wild. There's a number of strange correlations and straight up shared words with Babylonian civilizations like the Sumerians. The Sumerians have 'Nin' but it means lady or priestess/princess lol
Said Shidad gives one example each for a word shared also with Sumerian and Akkadian (and generally the Afro-Asiatic languages) and he mentions more in other articles: https://www.intechopen.com/chapters/87000

If archaeologists look into the ruins of the ancient Barbaria city-states they could probably find many papyrus scrolls with writing and art in them. That’s what the ancient world used before paper was popularized after the battle of talas.I think so. We really don't have much to go on we need to find large caches of old writings and decipher them. To do that, we need to find the oldest cities with surviving writing- any science would have been done mainly in cities by people sponsored by the ruler.
