The comedy of interacting with bots like @xabashi is that they skew the reality. It's the feds who are attacking Tigray and not the other way around. It's Amharas who are taking over parts of Tigray by force and not the other way around. But these bots are trying to make us believe that Amharas are victims and feds are upholding the law.

Actually, the Kingdom of Axum were Tigrayans and the Ethiopian Empire were Amharas. Menelik II (Amhara) was jailed by his fellow Amharan Tewedros II, not Yohannes IV (Tigrayan).
Dont you think under Menelik 2 and Haile Selasie that alot of their land was confisicated and settled by Amharas just like they did to Oromos?

But the truth must also be told that TPLF was calling for it for war the last 2 years openly bragging that no one can beat them and war for tigreans is a „cultural game“. They have many times threatened the federal government and PM Abiy with war, displaying their Liyu and militias on TV every other week, literally begging for war.
TPLF and many others here were so confident that they will easily beat the fed army and come back to Addis. TPLF many times humiliated the federal authorities including sending back a newly appointed general taking his new job in Tigray. With all their aggressive behavior the federal government was patient not to drug the country to war.
Finally TPLF committed the worst crime by attacking the federal army stationed in Tigray (which they admitted on their TV btw) that has been protecting Tigray from a possible Eritrean attack for more than 2 decades snd taking high ranking generals hostage and looting its hardware. That was the final staw that broke the camel‘s back.
All those people who now cry foul in hopes to save TPLF before the army storms Mekele were cheering and supporting the aggressive acts of TPLF.
Anyway, except for the capital Mekele, the war has almost ended in Tigray. And no crying foul calls will save the TPLF criminals at this last stage. They will face justice soon and no crocodile tears for the people of Tigray saves them.

That won’t work because of addis ababa being a majority amhara city in the middle of oromia. Almost 2 million amharas live in that city and another 15 million all over oromia oromia and amharas can’t seperate without a war and a massive one aswell
Addis ababa was formed after millions of oromos were displaced and killed.It wasnt formed through mutual trade.
Addis represents what is wrong with Ethiopia of how one ethnic group benefitted from the misery of 200 others.
