Do we even know what is in the ‘Turkey Deal’?
The 10 year deal where they patrol the ocean and build us a navy. And get 30%. I bring up integrity becuase comparing ethiopia who wants a naval base and who already occupied the somali region of ethiopia and wants in the long run to annex the bebera region is not comparable to turkey who has been mainly beneficial for us and is so far away they can never fully dominate Somalia permanently.What Turkey deal? kkk yeah I believe you misunderstood me. The Turkey deal is calm. I was on about how our oceans were signed off by previous admins in exchange for small buck.
I just watched the somali cowboy tiktok. I didn't Realize this meeting was happening tommorw. He makes some good points especially about how those soliders will go back without pay and abiy doesn't have money for them. Which is a huge problem since soliders without pay always cause problems especially with the current troubles in ethiopia

I've realised these while loosely following Somali politics since he was elected President. Ninkaan tuug waaye wallah, I was too young to pay attention when he was in power before, and I dismissed my father's concerns about his corruption as him being misguided, but he's been vindicated. His goal is simply the same as Farmaajo imo, just to enrich his pockets, same with QQ in GM, and probably other state leaders.

Turkish want the best for both Somalia and xabashi. We love them because they are genuine.
Farmaajo’s goal was socialism, he was actively trying to return public ownership to all things which should be basic to Somalis aswell as a step further. Food, health, electricity, education etc
He took money out of his own salary for Somalia’s needy and lowered MP salary. Once farmaajo saw that each flight expense for these politicians was 50-100k due to “concerns about AS”, he started taking commercial flights to reduce his amount spent since that money would be better used elsewhere. He set up a successful anti corruption commission, made up of public individuals.
The issue with Farmaajo is that he’s power hungry for attempting to militarily take over the country and dumb for creating the decisions which ultimately led to his downfall. Money hungry was not in my analysis of his character.
