Is it a good idea to marry someone who has already been married before with a child?

its not rare maybe you're out of touch with reality I know and ive seen plenty girls who been divorced and marry a guy who has never been married the only thing that's taboo in somali culture is a guy marrying a girl thats alot older than him
You specifically called the mother of believers, 'undesirables' 'charity cases' and said anyone who propose to them were bummy.

Your a dumbass marrying a divorced woman is taboo in out culture when you never married before i bet you if any somali young guy who has never been married before came to his parents and said i found a woman and she is divorced all of them would react in bad way

no parents would be happy with that and majority would stop their sons they would only be ok with it if the son was a divorcee himself
It really isn't. I've seen divorced girls marry again with men that have never been married before.
Of course families don't like it! Heck they don't even like it when their girls marry divorced guys. I know my family wouldn't. Which is completely natural.
But lets not act like there is a massive stigma and that these girls struggle to marry ect. I've seen divorced girls marry guys who have never married.

I called them undesirables (not charity cases that was you) because that's what they are. Heard plenty of lectures and Friday sermons praising Mohamed for taking on undesirables that were highly stigmatized.

The 'slaves' that you talk about were not even slaves. They were the ones who's fathers went into battle with the Prophet s. a. w and then were captured, but married straigh after.
This is a legitimate hadith about one of the wives of Prophet s. a. w. Who was said to not only be incredibly beautiful:
Hazrat Juwairiyahra was the daughter of the famous chieftain of Banu Mustaliq, Haris bin Abi Darrar. She was first married within her tribe to Musafi bin Safwan. Hazrat Aishara described her as someone who possessed charm and beauty and she fascinated everyone who saw her. (Sunan Abi Daud, Hadith 3931)

2ndly- Khadijah was indeed seen as a catch. The prophet s.a.w married her before Islam. He didn't marry her to make a 'point' like you tried to suggest.

You also suggested that he married them to reduce the stigma they faced. Where is your daleel? During that time period many of the Sahabas were marrying divorced and widowed women. It was mostly due to the fact that many of them were the daughters of tribal leaders, therefore the marriages converted whole tribes.
