I’ve seen the genetics of the early Swahili Muslim and it seems that they have 60+ Cushitic dna while the rest is different (idk if it’s confirmed tho ) and the Morden swahili are different.

Also they was follower of the shaifi madhab while the omanis wasn’t which is weird because at that time I’m pretty sure only us and Yemen was the follower of the shaifi madhab.
