Looks like Puntland needs to kill Federalism and introduce a new system of Governance, because either we leave this failed State, or we need a system that allows us our full autonomy. The only thing I would agree to, is share foreign policy and National Security forces. That's IT.

If Puntland ‘killed’ anything and attempted to introduce a new system of governance, this time it will not work as there is some form of goverment in xamar this time and not like 2004 where only northern Somalia had a form of governance and therefore could make decisions alone.

In todays world, the opinion of puntites will be waved away and the goverment in Mogadishu will decide how to rule. Trust me your better off in the state you are today because another opportunity like the early 2000’s ain’t coming back

It’s a fake border anyway. Why does it make sense for Galmudug to be separate from the FGS. FGS will be more competent and powerful, as well as have the better IC relations. The clans who live in Galmudug live in in Xamar, KG, HS and JL too.

Galmudug is breastfed by FGS so they don't have anything to lose, but PL doesn't want to give more powers than already mentioned in the constitution, why would they. I think we will see FGS that dominates the south and PL is the only state that has some kind of autonomy.

This means that the somali civil Aviation Authority is the one that manages all airports and is responsible for air traffic throughout the country. JL accepts the SFG to make a deal with any country like the UAE to renew the port of Kismayo and manage it. UAE asks the SFG secretly permission regarding Berbera port and PL asks the SFG after the deal and JL is behind the SFG on this.

Everyone eating good in South Somalia?

People were mocking shabaab offensives two months ago fast forward to today Half of Hiraan and all of middle shabelle is shabaab free. Galmudug and western hiraan ( Galjecel land) will be Shabaab free by June 2023. SWS and JL will soon start as well. By 2024, shabaab will be a thing of the past.

I know that is bad news for reer Puntland as they thrive off south Somalia being in turmoil but your 5 minutes of relevancy is soon to be over

Nobody thrives off your chaos, we all suffer from it. But I will not sit here and play pretend and act like a HAG controlled Government will actually do its job. I'm talking about control not income or collecting taxes or even managing it can be under immigration wich falls under the jurisdiction of SFG or civil aviation or foreign investment law wich was approved by the parliament but by virtue of signing SFG will get a share from any contract with a foreign company. SFG will sign a deal with UAE on Kismayo port and will get a share. 30% of SFG budget comes from Mohadishu time for other regions to contribute.
