Under small numbers its manageable, and some cultures upper class members are known to do it, for example Naoto Kan, Japan's recent prime minister, married his first cousin. and If I remember right, Klaus Schwab married his first cousin.

I met one of my first cousins for the first time at 19. I will be honest she is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen, but I think that’s because I didn’t grow up with her and her brothers, otherwise there wouldn’t be an attraction like that but I didn’t put much thought into it. I think this is why Asians can marry their cousins so easy they must not see them enough where they their mind won’t develop an attraction because if you grow up with family you will never see them in such a light.

This is a common practice amongst South Asians (especially Pakistanis) and other Muslims. White people and Ashkenazi Jews marry their cousins but not in a higher rates than Pakistanis.
