What they should be focusing on are strategies to secure the borders, skies and seas through heavy military hardware imports, strategies that force the major global institutions to sanction Ethiopia into economic collapse, strategies to empower the northern unionists with recognised status until SL comes back to the negotiating table, and strategies in the form of military defence pacts with Eritrea and Egypt, since the genie is already out of the bottle.
