Perhaps you could benefit from some training on how to bait extremists in a more intellectual manner, which could help them reveal themselves more easily. Sheikh Muqbil said that Sheikh Uthaymeen (who gets quoted in the link) made a mistake in allowing voting. I am of Sheikh Muqbil's opinion.

Also I consider Sheikh Fawzan much more reliable than the person behind IslamQA. but even according to IslamQA: "Whoever wants to be on the safe side and abstain from voting is allowed to do so."
